Absolutely! Tarangire National Park is truly a land of giants!

Imagine yourself surrounded by herds of majestic elephants, dwarfed by the ancient, towering baobab trees that define this unique ecosystem.

The African elephants in Tarangire are magnificent and can reach impressive sizes. On average, they stand about 10 feet (3 meters) tall at the shoulder and can weigh up to 18,000 pounds (8,165 kg). Seeing these gentle giants roaming freely is an unforgettable experience.

The baobab trees in Tarangire are equally awe-inspiring. These iconic trees, sometimes called the "Tree of Life," typically range from 16 to 82 feet (5 to 25 meters) in height, with trunk diameters of 33 to 46 feet (10 to 14 meters).

Some exceptionally large baobabs can even reach heights of around 98 feet (30 meters) and are estimated to be hundreds, if not thousands, of years old.

Tarangire is often referred to as the "baobab capital of the world" due to the sheer number and size of these incredible trees scattered across its landscape.

Book your adventure to Tarangire National Park and marvel at its gentle giants and iconic trees!
