Planning a Safari in Tanzania with Mobila Tours and Safaris; Northern Circuit Safari Parks (from Arusha) is the most popular and includes;

Serengeti National Park: Famous for the Great Wildebeest Migration, which occurs from November to July. It's a vast park with consistent wildlife viewing.

Ngorongoro Crater : A UNESCO World Heritage Site, often called the "Garden of Eden." this caldera is teeming with wildlife, including the "Big Five" (lion, leopard, elephant, buffalo, rhino).

Tarangire National Park: Known for its large elephant herds and baobab trees, especially during the dry season. It's often considered a quieter gem.

Lake Manyara National Park: Home to diverse habitats, including a soda lake with thousands of flamingos, and famous for its tree-climbing lions.

Arusha National Park: A hidden gem with Mount Meru, Ngurdoto Crater, and Momela Lakes, offering good birding and wildlife viewing for day trips from Arusha.

Beyond the Northern Circuit, you can also explore:

Zanzibar: While not a safari park, it's a popular add-on for a beach holiday after a safari, offering pristine beaches and cultural experiences.

Mahale Mountains National Park & Gombe National Park: Located in Western Tanzania, these parks are renowned for chimpanzee trekking.

Nyerere National Park (formerly Selous Game Reserve): Africa's largest game reserve, famous for boat safaris and walking safaris.

Ruaha National Park: Tanzania's largest national park, a remote wilderness in the heart of the country, known for its predators.

Best Time to book with us

Dry Season (June to October)

This is generally considered the best time for wildlife viewing as animals congregate around waterholes and vegetation is sparse. It's also peak season, so expect more crowds and higher prices. The Mara River crossing of the Great Migration typically occurs in June and July.

Short Dry Season (January to March)

 Another excellent time, especially for witnessing the wildebeest calving season in the Ndutu Plains (around February), which attracts many predators.

Green Season/Long Rains (March to May)

 This is the low season with lush landscapes and lower prices. While wildlife spotting can be more challenging due to dense vegetation, it's great for birdwatching and offers a more exclusive experience. Some lodges might close during this time.
